Food online shop
Yammy
Yammy makes premium almond, cashew and pistachio butters without palm oil or added sugar. We built an online shop that puts the illustrated jars first and keeps checkout short.
01the brief
Packaging first, interface second
Yammy's jars have hand-drawn labels and a set of illustrated nut characters, and many people choose them on looks alone. The shop needed to show that packaging at full size and keep the rest of the interface out of its way. Listings had to stay clean, ingredients had to be stated honestly, and the path from product to checkout had to be short. The range comes as single jars and as sets of three, so good filtering mattered too.
02the approach
Illustration leads, interface follows
The jars and their characters are the brand, so we kept the interface in the background. The palette is warm caramel, corners are soft and round, and the display font, Seymour One, appears in only a few places beside a calmer typeface for body text. The illustrated nuts come back in a values section, where they make the ingredient story easy to recall.
We kept the shopping path short. Customers can narrow the range by nut type, jar size or set. The cart opens as a panel over the current page, so shoppers never lose their place, and it shows the running total with an obvious button to check out. On product pages, the jar takes most of the space and the text stays brief, because the look of the jar is what sells it.
