Stunt talent platform
World Wide Stunts
World Wide Stunts connects film and TV productions with professional stunt performers. We designed and built the platform studios use to search the roster, post a brief and book specialists wherever they film.
01the brief
Make danger feel controlled
Stunt work carries real risk, and the producers who hire for it think about safety before anything else. World Wide Stunts needed a platform that proved, within seconds, that every performer on its books is vetted, insured and rehearsed. The roster covers many disciplines and dozens of countries, so studios had to find the right specialist quickly, and performers needed a simple way to join. The site also had to keep some of the energy that draws people to the work.
02the approach
Designed like a shoot day
The design takes its cues from a film set. Before the hero scene starts, the homepage runs a pre-shoot safety check covering rig, harness and medic. Timecode, camera frame marks and a UTC clock that updates live surround every section. Nearly black backgrounds carry one signal colour, orange, reserved for anything clickable.
The drama sits on top of a practical tool. High falls, fire and burns, precision driving, fight choreography, wire work and freerunning each get a spec sheet listing certified heights, burn durations and load ratings. Next to a live risk index, a six-stage safety protocol explains how each stunt is prepared. Studios can narrow the roster by discipline and by region, and every performer card reads like a technical sheet, with credits, years of experience, home base and availability. A studio sends a brief and receives a shortlist. A performer applies by sending a showreel.
